The 'patent pending' cylindrical encasement device optimizes plant growth and the adaptation process to ensure long-term results in the most extreme environments.

The design facilitates “forced adaptation”, that is, induced changes in morphology or structure in order to habituate the developing mangrove tree to non-native environment or environments where natural recruitment cannot occur.

The new device is applicable in large scale afforestation as-well-as local habitat creation and restoration projects.
